Share Honored with Community Leadership Award for Backpack Program
We are delighted to announce that Share was selected to receive the 2012 Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) Community Leadership Award for the Columbia River Region!
The award recognizes our organization’s “extraordinary contributions to education and the students of Vancouver School District” through Share’s Backpack Program.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers who help to fill bags each week, as well as to the local businesses and individuals who donate food items. Your generosity is key to the continued success of this vital program – thank you!
