-Fill a Holiday Food Box. Fill a food box to provide a Thanksgiving meal for a family of 4-6 people. Our goal is to provide a box for 150 households. Click here for a list of needed items: Share Holiday Cheer Program: Food Boxes

  • Non-perishable food items can be donated and delivered to the Share Fromhold Service Center, 2306 NE Andresen Road.
  • Perishable food items must be donated at one of our shelters: Share House, 1115 W 13th Street or Share Homestead 4921 NE Hazel Dell Ave.

To fill a Holiday Food Box: Contact Molly Evjen at (360) 952-8228 or mevjen@sharevancouver.org

-Adopt-a-Family. Make a difference for a family this holiday season. Purchase gifts and clothing for low-income families in our ASPIRE program who receive rent subsidies, and other families who qualify for assistance. It’s simple: you will receive a list of gift items requested by the family, you purchase the items and deliver them to Share. Average cost is between $100 to $125 per adopted family member. • Please do not wrap your gifts. Donors bring in an itemized list that is verified by staff and again by the recipient so that Share can ensure that the correct gifts get to the intended party.

-Wish Tags. Wish Tags are great opportunity for community members to ensure that more than 1,000 local individuals and families receive gifts through Share’s Holiday Cheer Program. Your gifts will be shared with families in our shelters and supportive housing programs, as well as low-income Clark County adults and families through our annual holiday party. Share will provide hang-able tags with suggested gift items for different age groups. You can display the tags as ornaments on your Christmas tree or menorah in a common space, pin them on a board, or do something new and creative with them to inspire the holiday spirit.
