Share Outreach was established in 1996, the result of a taskforce formed by community leaders to find solutions to the issues of transiency in downtown Vancouver. Currently staffed by three case managers, this program provides street outreach to more than 1,800 hard-to-reach and hard-to-serve homeless individuals each year.

Daily Living Services are available Monday through Friday on a walk-in basis, from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. These services include access to showers, laundry facilities, clothing, mail and transportation assistance.
Additionally, case managers meet with clients on a one-to-one basis to assist them in accessing existing social services, stable housing situations or to assist with whatever needs they may have. Much work is also focused on the area of addressing issues pertaining to mental illness and alcohol and chemical dependencies.
Donations for Share Outreach are always needed and much appreciated. We ask that all donated items be provided in gently-used or new condition.
