Hoops on the River is open to all interested basketball players—youth and adults, experienced and beginner. Team divisions include: adults (including co-ed), youth, wheelchair and Special Olympics. School-aged teams are based on player grades, not ages. Teams will be placed into brackets based on the oldest player’s grade in the upcoming 2009-2010 school year. Team fees are: $150 for Elite 6ft & Over, Elite Up to 6ft and Elite Women*; $100 for adult and youth teams; $50 for wheelchair and Special Olympics. If registered after Aug. 1, entry fee is $125 for adults and youth, $175 for elite adults.
Note: A $500 prize will be awarded to each team champion in the divisions of Elite 6ft & Over, Elite 6ft & Under and Elite Women. Prize money is contingent upon enough team registrations in those divisions.
