How can I access shelter services provided by Share?
For families and single women: if you are in need of shelter or know someone who is, call the Emergency Shelter Clearinghouse at (360) 695-9677. Single men in need of shelter should contact Share House directly at (360) 695-7658 or by visiting the shelter at 1115 W 13th Street in downtown Vancouver.
Daily living services – offered through Share Outreach – are available Monday through Friday on a walk-in basis, from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m., at Share House, 1115 W 13th Street. These services include access to showers, laundry facilities, clothing, mail and transportation assistance.
When are meals offered at Share House?
Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Meals are free and open to the public.
What are the necessary qualifications for Share ASPIRE/transitional housing program? And, how can I apply to the ASPIRE program?
Those eligible for ASPIRE include families, disabled individuals and honorably discharged veterans. Applicants must be homeless at the time of application and working with a qualified case manager on a monthly basis.
