At Share, we provide a spectrum of services—from shelters for individuals and families who experience homelessness and a Hot Meals program that provides free meals to the public to an Individual Development Accounts savings program to buy a home, car or pursue education or Lincoln Place, a 30-unit permanent supportive housing apartment complex. Some of Our Accomplishments in 2018:

  • With ‘no length of stay’ at our family shelters, an 18% increase in the number of people moving into permanent housing
  • Share’s Backpack Program provided 1,680+ kids with 60,480 packs, plus 690+ kids served at our Fresh Food Pantries
  • At Lincoln Place, 80% of our community’s most vulnerable people have been stably housed for at least 6 months; 70% for at least 1 year
  • At Share’s Day Center, staff helped 160 to find jobs and 102 people to secure housing
  • Share’s Summer Meals Program served 22,590 free meals to children at risk of hunger
  • With a Housing Navigator added to Share House staff, a 25% increase in the number of people moving into permanent homes
  • Share’s Talkin’ Trash program picked up 146 tons of trash around Share House & neighboring areas
  • 2,884 volunteers provided their time & talent to contribute 28,302 hours of service
  • Share ASPIRE maintained an 81% success rate in graduates who do not access housing services again

Confidentiality & Privacy Policies

The Notice of Privacy Practices is to ensure that all Share Employees and Business Associates preserve the integrity and confidentiality of client protected health information (PHI) consistent with the privacy rules of Washington, the federal Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), and under general, professional ethics. This Notice of Privacy Practices also specifies client rights regarding the use of their protected health information (PHI), and to describe and maintain a process for filing a complaint in the event a client feels those rights have been violated.
